Yousuf Reveals How He Helped Faheem Ashraf Become a far better Batsman [Video]

 

 

Fabulous middle-order batsman, Mohammad Yousuf, publicized that Faheem Ashraf has tinkered together with his batting technique at the National High Performance Center at Lahore, and thus his batting has improved considerably.

Mohammad Yousuf was recently appointed as a baseball coach at the National High-Performance Center and has worked with Faheem to enhance his batting technique. Yousuf said that Faheem’s foot movement didn't allow him to time the ball perfectly.

 

“Faheem Ashraf, when he came back from England, had an effort that his front foot went in advance a touch early. I operated with him using several methods like video analysis, etc. Alhamdulillah, he has improved tons,” said Yousuf.

Faheem played an impressive knock of 91 against New Zealand within the first innings of Pakistan’s first match game. He led the fightback alongside the stand-in captain Mohammad Rizwan and salvaged the innings for Pakistan.

Yousuf said that the change in Faheem’s technique helped him become a far better batsman, as evident together with his battling innings. Faheem has done significantly well on this tour for Pakistan, playing his hand within the T20I series and justifying his selection within the national Test team.
